Q: What materials can this machine cut? Are there any materials it can't handle?

A: This machine is compatible with a wide range of materials, including carbon fiber, aramid fiber, basalt fiber, glass fiber, polyester, acrylic, metal fiber, coconut fiber, hemp fiber, fabric, nylon mesh, PP rope, film, woven bags, and various other soft materials. In general, as long as the material is soft, fibrous, or sheet-like, it can be processed with ease.

Q: Can the machine run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?

A: Yes. The MT series is built to industrial-grade standards and designed for continuous long-term operation. That said, even the toughest equipment needs regular maintenance. We recommend taking just 10 to 15 minutes per shift to check the blade condition and lubrication points. With proper daily care, the machine will deliver stable, reliable performance over the long haul and help you avoid costly major repairs down the road.

Q: How long do the blades last? Is blade replacement difficult?

A: Blade life really depends on throughput and material hardness. Under normal operating conditions, they can run for several hours or several days. Harder materials—like carbon fiber or glass fiber—will speed up wear. Replacement is straightforward. The blades are mounted in a modular setup, so swapping out a set takes about 15- minutes and doesn't require any special tools. We always recommend keeping more spare set on hand to minimize downtime. It’s important to study how to adjust blade and change new blade.

Q:How is the cutting length adjusted? What's the difference between the manual wheel and the touchscreen setting?

A: For the MT80PLC, MT220 and MT220L, the cutting length is set manually using a control wheel. Once it's dialed in, just lock it and start batch production. It's simple, reliable, and cost-effective. For the MT80PLC and MT220PLC, you enter the desired length directly on the touchscreen, and the PLC system takes care of the rest. The big advantages are fast changeovers, stored parameters, and one-touch recall for different materials—making it ideal for operations that switch between multiple feedstocks. In short: if you're running the same material day in and day out, the manual version does the job just fine. If you're frequently switching between different materials or need tighter precision, go with the PLC model, very short size cutting please also chose PLC type.

Q: Is the machine noisy during operation?

A: The machine cutting on a servo motor which ensures smooth operation and keeps noise levels within the normal range for industrial equipment. That said, actual noise can vary depending on material hardness and cutting speed—harder materials or faster speeds will naturally generate more sound.
