What is the cutting thickness range and the cutting speed?

The cutting thickness is adjustable from 20mm to 200mm. The cutting frequency is max. 120 times per minute, suitable for continuous batch processing.

What are the equipment dimensions and what space should be reserved for installation?

The overall equipment dimensions are 2300 (L) × 1500 (W) × 1600 (H) mm. The packing dimensions are 2350 × 1410 × 1550 mm. It is recommended to reserve at least 500mm of clearance around all sides for maintenance access.

Does the equipment come with overload protection? Is daily maintenance troublesome?

The equipment comes standard with motor overload thermal protection and an emergency stop switch. Daily maintenance mainly consists of cleaning the blade slots daily, checking belt tension weekly, and lubricating bearings monthly. Maintenance is convenient, as all service points are easily accessible.

How is the cutting length adjusted? What's the difference between the manual wheel and the touchscreen setting?

For the MT80PLC, MT220 and MT220L, the cutting length is set manually using a control wheel. Once it's dialed in, just lock it and start batch production. It's simple, reliable, and cost-effective. For the MT80PLC and MT220PLC, you enter the desired length directly on the touchscreen, and the PLC system takes care of the rest. The big advantages are fast changeovers, stored parameters, and one-touch recall for different materials—making it ideal for operations that switch between multiple feedstocks. In short: if you're running the same material day in and day out, the manual version does the job just fine. If you're frequently switching between different materials or need tighter precision, go with the PLC model, very short size cutting please also chose PLC type.
