The HRF-HC16B/17B high-yield combing machine is specifically designed for pure cotton, chemical fibers, recycled yarns, and waste cotton recycling for spinning. With a working width of 1280mm, it has a maximum output of 200 kg/h and a maximum yarn-out speed of 400 m/min. It is suitable for large-scale spinning and recycled fiber production lines. This machine is equipped with a 3-meter effective combing area, 40 working rotating covers and front and rear fixed covers, a combing section with hooks, and multiple sets of cleaning devices. It can fully loosen fibers and efficiently remove impurities and short fibers. An integrated 4-in-1 intelligent self-adjusting and straightening system is built-in to real-time correct the deviation of the cotton layer thickness, reducing problems such as unevenness of the roving, poor yarn quality, and broken yarns.

Larger carding area, lower nep and impurity content

Conventional carding machines normally have a carding length of 2.4–2.7 m. Our model upgrades to a 3-meter effective carding zone with 40 working rotary flats. Fibers stay longer in the carding area for thorough opening. The finished sliver has noticeably lower neps, impurities and short fiber content, suitable for high-quality grey fabric and knitting yarn production.

Integral cast structure, stable gauge without deformation at high speed

Cylinder, doffer and side walls are made of one-piece cast iron. It avoids structural deformation caused by long-time high-speed vibration on welded frames. Even running continuously at 330–500 rpm, the cylinder-flat gauge remains unchanged. Sliver evenness and consistency stay stable in long-run production, cutting downtime for repeated gauge adjustment.

Large-diameter three-roller feeding system for stable feeding without blockage

Upgraded large-diameter feed rollers with new three-roller gripping structure deliver stronger fiber holding force and better feeding uniformity. No slipping, clogging or extra nep generation under high throughput. It supports heavy feed weight of 400–1300 g/m to meet high-capacity production.

Multi-servo independent drive, wide range of adjustable parameters for various materials

Separate servo & VFD control for cylinder, doffer, flats and feeding unit. Total draft ratio adjustable from 40 to 370 times. It steadily produces sliver of 3.5–10 g/m, compatible with pure cotton, chemical fiber, regenerated cotton and blended fibers.

High-volume negative pressure dust removal, less fly waste and cleaner web

Standard 4200 m³/h continuous air suction system with -800 Pa outlet static pressure. Multiple web cleaners are configurable: 3 front + 3 rear for cotton, 2 front + 2 rear for chemical fiber. It effectively removes floating lint and fine impurities, reducing workshop fly waste and improving sliver cleanliness.

FAQ

Q: What materials can this machine process? Is it suitable for regenerated cotton?

A: Yes. It supports pure cotton, pure chemical fiber, cotton-chemical blends, waste cotton and regenerated spinning. It is the main machine for regenerated yarn lines, delivering thorough opening of recycled fibers with low nep count.

Q: Is the 200 kg/h maximum output nominal? Can it reach this capacity in real production?

A: The 200 kg/h is real effective capacity. Stable 200 kg/h can be achieved with clean raw material, proper cotton blending and correct machine commissioning. For normal continuous production, we recommend operating at 160–190 kg/h to balance high output and optimal sliver quality.

Q: What makes it better than conventional carding machines with shorter carding zone?

A: Ordinary machines with short carding zone and fewer flats tend to produce poor opening, high neps and unstable evenness at high speed. Our model adopts a 3m long carding zone, 40 working flats and non-deformable cast frame. It maintains good sliver quality at high production speed, ideal for premium yarn and mass stable production.

Q: Can it solve unstable sliver weight and uneven sliver thickness?

A: Yes. The 4-in-1 front & rear auto-leveling system controls both long and short term variation. Combined with PID stable pressure feeding, it greatly reduces weight deviation and periodic thick-thin sliver, offering much better consistency than simple leveling models.

Q: Is the machine difficult to set up? Does it require highly skilled operators?

A: Speed and draft parameters are digitally adjustable via servo and VFD. The auto-leveling system compensates automatically. Manual mechanical adjustment frequency is low. Operators can master routine operation after short training.
