Founded in 1986, Alkaram Group is a well-established integrated textile leader in Pakistan. It owns fabric manufacturing plants and a dedicated towel division. Thanks to consistent and superior product quality, its goods are exported to Europe and the United States, making it a key supplier of premium hospitality linens and household towels for the global market.
Large volumes of soft cotton trimmings and cotton waste are generated from Alkaram’s production process. Due to high levels of impurities and fine dust, such waste could not be reused for yarn spinning, which hindered the implementation of its recycled cotton project. After extensive market research and repeated technical comparisons, Alkaram finally purchased our complete waste-cotton cleaning production line.
Tailored to the waste characteristics from its towel and fabric workshops, the production line efficiently eliminates foreign fibers and fine dust. It purifies discarded cotton materials into qualified recycled cotton that can be fed back into the spinning process.
This waste-cotton cleaning line has completely transformed Alkaram’s previous inefficient waste-disposal approach. It greatly cuts raw-material procurement costs and realizes 100% recycling of textile waste. Moreover, it enables the enterprise to meet international recycled-cotton environmental certification requirements, so that Alkaram can secure more high-end sustainable orders from Europe and America. Multiple benefits are achieved at the same time: cost reduction, efficiency improvement, environmental-friendly production and profit growth.
Going forward, Jinan Morinte will keep focusing on the textile circular economy. With high-precision and highly-stable waste-cotton recycling and cleaning equipment, we help more large overseas textile enterprises unlock the value of waste resources and advance in the green textile sector.
